Court Base Guidance
Recommended Base: Concrete or Asphalt
For optimal court performance and consistent ball rebound, we recommend installing your 123COURTS surface over a flat, smooth and properly prepared concrete or asphalt base.
Compacted Aggregate Base
Installation over a properly graded, leveled and compacted aggregate/road base is also possible. The base must be extremely flat, stable and consistent. Because aggregate surfaces can vary, ball rebound and overall playing characteristics may differ from concrete or asphalt. We recommend testing a sample tile over the prepared base before installation.
